I have not looked too closely yet, but initially this looks like a pretty good idea. Basically, anyone can upload video or stills of criminal activity in hopes of someone recognizing the suspects. They are listing over 100,000 items so far!There is some pretty slick integration with google maps as well. You can plug in your zip code and go to a map of the area. If there are posts for that area, you can even filter out what you don't care about with a little "filter bar". I'm sure there are some legal considerations as well as tactical ones for each specific case that should be considered - but all in all this could be useful.
